For this project many of the resources I used came from the Digital Studies 101 site for UMW students. I learned about what a new aesthetic was by using the resources located on the weird stuff page under the creativity modules tab. For the project itself, I used Tumblr to create a blog to research and curate a new aesthetic. I used the search function of Tumblr to explore and track different tags. I am most proud of being able to track down a pretty precise date of the first post made in the new aesthetic tag that I curated. I’m also proud of being able to document a new trend for future generations.
